Donate to ETS
Since 1973, Evergreen Treatment Services has fostered healing in our community. Through addiction services and recovery support rooted in community justice and health equity, ETS meets people where they are. We support people’s health and safety, no matter where they are in their recovery journey.
But we cannot do it alone—our community needs us all.
Be a part of making the Puget Sound region safer and healthier by donating to ETS today.

Legacy Giving
Legacy giving, also known as planned giving, is one way to think ahead about the positive impact you would like to leave beyond your lifetime. By including ETS in your will or estate as a beneficiary, you contribute to the longevity of the organization and ensure our community continues to receive the lifesaving support it needs.
Ready to get started with legacy giving? Contact Tavia Rhodes, VP of Philanthropy & Communications, at trhodes[at]evergreentreatment[dot]org.
Memorial & Honor Giving
We have helped many people recover purpose and live with dignity, and we also mourn those who did not receive the care they deserved in this lifetime. With increasing inequities creating greater challenges to access healthcare and housing, it is hard to find someone who has not been impacted by substance use, homelessness, or mental illness.
If you would like to contribute to our mission and honor the memory of a loved one lost before they received the care they deserved, you can give a memorial gift to ETS. Your gift helps pay tribute to your loved one and supports our work to help people in similar situations live a healthy and stable life.
Employer Matching
Many employers provide matching donations when employees give to nonprofit organizations. This means that the gift doubles, triples, or even quadruples!
Please ask your company’s HR and benefits team about an employee match program. Typically, you donate to a qualifying nonprofit, submit the receipt as proof to your employer, and they match your gift. Ask your employer for instructions on how to get started.
Workplace Giving
Workplace giving programs are a convenient, sustainable, and tax-deductible way to provide consistent donations to a charity or nonprofit of your choice. Typically, a company will offer a workplace giving campaign where you can opt-in and choose a nonprofit to donate a set amount of money from your paychecks. Your donation is deducted automatically for a specified time, and it adds up! For example, if you give $40 per paycheck for one year and you are paid every two weeks, you will have donated $1,040.
If you can participate in a workplace giving program and would like to support ETS’s lifesaving recovery support services throughout western Washington, please ask your employer for instructions on how to get started.
Gifts of Stock
Maximize the impact of your gift by donating or transferring stocks. Selling stock to then donate to a nonprofit organization is subject to capital gains tax—but by directly donating stock or transferring it through a donor-advised fund to a tax-exempt nonprofit organization, your gift retains its full value!
ETS accepts stocks donations. To donate or transfer your stock to ETS, contact Tavia Rhodes, VP of Philanthropy & Communications, at trhodes[at]evergreentreatment[dot]org.
In-Kind Donations
ETS is fueled by more than financial resources—the compassion, expertise, patience, time, and commitment of our staff and community sustains us. We welcome in-kind donations based on the services, connections, or resources you have access to and would like to share with our team, clients, and community.
To make an in-kind donation, contact Molly Harney, Development Associate, at mharney[at]evergreentreatment[dot]org.
We welcome in-kind donations like:
- Seasonally Appropriate Clothing: Beanies, coats, jackets, gloves, pants, socks, t-shirts, and underwear. All clothing donations must be new or gently used. If used, clothing must be washed, odor and allergen-free, and in good condition prior to drop off.
- Blankets (new or gently used and washed)
- Furniture, electronics, and large kitchen appliances. Broken items will not be accepted.
- Medical supplies (e.g., gloves, clean needles)
- Tents and camping supplies (e.g., outdoor stoves)
- Printing services for our educational materials
- Haircuts and personal care treatments for our clients
If you have other resources or services not listed above that you are interested in donating to support ETS, please contact Molly Harney to discuss your donation at mharney[at]evergreentreatment[dot]org.
Please complete this form with an estimated monetary value of your in-kind donation. Donations are tax deductible! ETS/REACH is required to provide written acknowledgment for any contribution of $250 or more to the IRS. Therefore, completion of this form is required if the value of your donation meets this contribution threshold.
Vehicle Donations
ETS meets people where they are. To do this, we regularly travel to neighborhoods like Ballard, SODO, U District and many others to meet with people living outside and support their recovery goals. We require safe transportation for our staff and clients to make our work possible.
If you own and would like to donate a vehicle that is in working condition, meaning:
- Engine, transmission, and drivetrain are complete, and in running order. Repairs needed that are valued at $3k or under can be considered
- No major body damage that impacts the vehicles functionality or safety
- Interior does not contain biological hazards, i.e. mold, waste, etc.
- Vehicle is preferably no more than 15 years old or has more than 100k miles
- Vehicle has a clear title of the make; we will be unable to insure any vehicles with salvage titles
- Unfortunately, Evergreen Treatment Services’ sites are not equipped to charge electric vehicles, so we can not accept them at this time. Hybrids are welcome and encouraged!
ETS uses a variety of vehicles in our fleet to best serve a range of needs for our community. If you are curious whether the type of vehicle you own might be of use, please contact Arden Gintz at ardeng[at]etsreach[dot]org to get started.
